Women's Health Initiative - Clinical Coordinating Center

This Sources Sought notice is issued by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute to identify qualified sources for the renewal of the Women's Health Initiative Clinical Coordinating Center. The primary objective is to support core operations and the follow-up of clinical events to better understand cardiovascular disease and successful aging in older women. The selected contractor will be responsible for coordinating a complex study involving approximately 85,000 participants, managing data and biologic specimens, and providing analytic support to the broader research community. Key requirements include maintaining the study database and web-based management systems, conducting participant follow-up and death index searches, and overseeing the distribution of specimens to investigators. The contractor must also provide scientific expertise to support manuscript development and coordinate activities across various medical disciplines. The anticipated period of performance runs from April 1, 2016, through March 30, 2021, consisting of a base year and four optional one-year extensions.
