Work Zone Safety Trucks

The State of Idaho, on behalf of the Idaho Transportation Department, is soliciting bids under ITB 1137 for the procurement of Work Zone Safety Trucks. The successful bidder will be responsible for providing three types of trucks with specified configurations, delivered to the ITD Headquarters in Boise, Idaho, within 365 days after receipt of order. Award will be granted to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest total extended cost. Bidders must submit their proposals electronically through the IPRO system, including a fully completed Submittal Form A for certifications and Submittal Form B for fully burdened unit pricing. Compliance requirements include mandatory insurance coverage for commercial general liability, automobile liability, and workers compensation, with proof of insurance due within five business days of the award. Technical specifications mandate a two-axle thrust angle alignment prior to delivery, high-quality paint finishes, and sealed hydraulic components. Delivery must occur Monday through Thursday between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm, with the contractor assuming all transport costs and ensuring vehicles are delivered full of fuel and diesel exhaust fluid. The contract will be administered as a Blanket Purchase Order via the Luma ERP system and is governed by the laws of the state of Idaho.
