Workforce & Purpose Alignment Initiative

The workforce and purpose alignment initiative is to engage a qualified health economist to facilitate alignment of program, service, and resources for maximum health impact and responsible stewardship of public funds; to ensure decisions and investments are strategically guided by the Department’s mission, vision, and goals to better serve Missourians; and to strengthen workforce and purpose alignment by helping staff understand how their efforts contribute to shared priorities and improved population health outcomes.
