The contract is for the procurement of five WOUND CLOSURE KIT, UTILITY units, each containing a sterile minor laceration tray packed in an easy-to-open pouch with specified surgical and wound care items including a 30-inch by 30-inch KIMGUARD ONE STEP drape, 60 cc medicine cup, number 15 safety scalpel, halstead mosquito forceps, webster needle holder, adson forceps, iris scissors, multiple gauze pads, and absorbent towels. The kits must comply with stringent packaging and labeling requirements under MIL-STD-129 and MMS No. 1 as the governing standards for medical items, with palletization and preservation following DLA’s RP001 requirements.
