WWTP HVAC Replacement

The City of Red Deer is seeking quotations for the HVAC Replacement project at its Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 7890 – 40 Avenue, Red Deer, AB. This project, identified as CIMA Project No. C06-0124, requires the contractor to provide all labor, materials, and equipment to install, test, and operate mechanical systems including ductwork, fans, air outlets, electric unit heaters, modular air handling equipment, coils, fan coil units, and electric dehumidifiers. A key technical requirement is the implementation of a 50/50 inhibited propylene glycol heating system for the entire scope. Additionally, the contractor must erect temporary construction fencing and may be asked to perform optional work extending the Digester Building Roof outdoor air intake by approximately 3 meters. The contract follows a two-stage evaluation process, first screening for mandatory requirements and then scoring based on pricing, proposed methodology, schedule, and the respondent's experience with three similar projects completed within the last five years.
