COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATIONSTORAGE OF FURNITURE (I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes a solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written quotes on RFQ reference number F3LGLG5348A100. (III) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-04. (IV) This solicitation is being issued as small business set a side; the associated NAICS code is 531130. The size standard is $21,500,000. Trying to encourage small business, preferably service disabled veteran owned vendors to reply. (V) This combined synopsis/solicitation is for the following commercial item: Self-storage unit rental or leasing for storage of furniture. (VI) Description of requirements are as follows: 1100sq feet storage for furniture. Furniture does not require moving. 500K system furniture parts starting 30 Jan 06 through 31 Dec 06. (VII) Origin of contract is Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado 80914. (VIII) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items (Jan 2004), applies to this acquisition. In addition to written quotes, offerors are instructed to provide a capability statement describing qualifications to perform requirements listed at paragraphs V and VI. (IX) FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999), applies to this acquisition. Paragraph A of this clause is completed as follows: 1) Price shall be used to evaluate quotes. (X) The offeror must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items (May 2004).
