X -- Notice of Intent of Sole Source Procurement-Space

The Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection intends to procure on a sole-source basis from First Industrial Realty Trust, 5313 Johns Road, Suite 201, Tampa, FL 33634 approx. 17,793 sf of warehouse space. This space is located in Lake Point IV in Orlando, FL which is already occupied by CBP allowing supplies to be moved from currently occupied warehouse which will continue to be used to new space and back using a forklift. This is a temporary lease. CBP intends to award within 10 days of the date of this notice. This is not a request for quotes; however, sources that feel that they also are capable of fulfilling these requirements may submit descriptive literature, fully documenting their capabilities within 7 days of publication of this notice. This information may also be considered for future procurements. A determination to compete this procurement based on response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responses or questions regarding this posting must be in writing and may be sent via email to contact@example.gov or faxed to her attention at +1 (555) 000-0000. No phone calls will be accepted. If no other responses are received, award will be made on 7/3/2006. The award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
