This is a notice of intent to extend services against an existing contract to Fort Hood Morale Welfare & Recreation, Bldg. 194 37th Street, Fort Hood, TX 76544-0000, on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1). The proposed procurement is for the Command Group Events at Fort Hood, TX, for the period 1 October 2010 through 31 December 2010. Interested persons need to identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes by 08:00 a.m. CST on Tuesday, September 7, 2010. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 722110. There is no associated small business size standard. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The requirement will be conducted under FAR Subpart 12.
