X -- The U. S. General Services Administration (GSA) is interested in leasing space in the Atlanta, Georgia area suitable for use by the Social Security Administration.

The U.S. General Services Administration is seeking approximately 11,135 BOMA rentable square feet of office space in Atlanta, Georgia, for use by the Social Security Administration. The government intends to satisfy this requirement through a superseding lease at the current location of 2630 MLK Jr. Drive, SW, unless an alternate location of equal size and quality is found to be more economically advantageous. Any proposed alternate sites must account for all tenant improvements and physical relocation expenses, including data and telecommunications transfers estimated at 6.19 dollars per square foot. The lease term is set for ten years, with the first five years being firm, starting around March 1, 2004, and ending February 28, 2009. Submissions for inspection are restricted to property owners or their exclusive listing agents and must be received by 4:00 p.m. EST on February 10, 2004.
