The IRS requires the services of a commercial contractor to provide a training facility and lodging for two continuous weeks during the period July 15, 2003 through August 15, 2003. Each employee attending will be responsible for making reservations for their lodging and for payment, thereof. The IRS plans to train approximately 2200 employees with 1100 attending each week. Due to the number of employees and meeting requirements, the IRS desires to conduct training in one centralized location with the ability to provide both meeting space and lodging. The location shall be within the central United States and within 40 miles of a major airport. Examples of acceptable sites are Chicago, Dallas, and Atlanta. The IRS requires 24-hour access to a specific number and size of meeting spaces to be used for classrooms, instructor prep areas, and audio-visual equipment, telephone lines, internet access, secure storage areas and other unrestricted procurement for commercial services. The NAICS code is 721110. Requests for the solicitation must be in writing to the above address or via FAX 972-308-1928. The solicitation will be available on or about December 5, 2003.
