The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) numbered VA786A-13-Q-0024 entitled "Fort Custer National Cemetery-Relocate Flammables Storage Building" on or about February 14, 2013, for Fort Custer National Cemetery located at 15501 Dickman Road, Augusta, MI 49012. Unless additional notice is given or this notice is modified or cancelled, the full solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on FedBizOPPS (www.fbo.gov). This solicitation is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, Required Central Contractor Registration (CCR); In accordance with VAAR 852.219-10 VA Notice of Total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside and VAAR 819-7005; Offeror submitting a quote must be Center for Veterans Enterprise verified and visible in the VIP database at time of offer due date and award. There will be a pre-bid site investigation; all prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid site investigation will be included in the solicitation package. NAICS Code: 237990 Size Standards: $33.5Million Project Magnitude: Between $25,000 and $100,000 Period of Performance: 30 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed This is a pre-solicitation notice synopsizing an upcoming RFQ solicitation to satisfy the requirement of FAR 5.201 and 5.203. This Contract Specialist will not be able to answer any questions to this notice until an RFQ is issued. Once the RFQ is issued, interested parties must submit questions via email to the Contract Specialist. Questions will be answered through an amendment of the solicitation. All interested parties should register via FedBizOpps interested vendors list. It is the responsibility of the offeror to monitor and download amendments from FedBizOpps which may be issued to this solicitation. Contractor shall procure and install all necessary materials to provide new concrete bulk storage bin and concrete pavement in the maintenance yard as indicated on the project drawings and specifications. The installation shall include excavation for new concrete footings and subgrade preparation, placement of forms and steel reinforcing, and placement and finishing 4000 psi concrete for new concrete pavement and bulk storage bin per accompanying drawings and specifications. Relocate the existing flammable storage building. Coordinate exact placement location with the COR. Procure and install all required electrical conduits, fittings, breakers, wire, and other miscellaneous items as required to provide a new electrical service to the relocated flammables storage building in accordance with all current and applicable NEC codes and regulations and per applicable local state and federal regulations.
