Y--STEA - THREE ROOF REPLACEMENTS

The National Park Service, Northeast Region, New England Major Acquisition Buying Office intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for a firm fixed priced construction contract, subject to the Davis-Bacon Act to furnish all labor, supervision, supplies, equipment, tools, materials, all supplementary or miscellaneous items, appurtenances and devices incidental to or necessary for the project required to complete the work in accordance with the Contract Documents. Remove and replace rubber membrane roofs and repair gutters and downspouts at History Museum, Theater, and Visitor Center. Roof area of History Museum to be replaced is approximately 14,410 square feet. Roof area of Theater to be replaced is approximately 7,130 square feet. Roof area of Visitor Center is approximately 3,810 square feet. Location: Steamtown NHS, Scranton, PA The order of magnitude for this project is estimated to be between $250,000 and $500,000. The NAICS code for this project is 238160 and the small business size standard is $15.0 million. Tentative date for issuing Invitations for Bids is July 17, 2017. Tentative date for the opening of bids is August 17, 2017. Contract performance period is 90 days after Notice to Proceed is issued. Plans will be available for inspection without charge as attachments to the Invitation for Bids.
