Yanko Chipilov

The Department of Cannabis Control has approved a Small Mixed-Light Tier 2 commercial cannabis license for the Yanko Chipilov project located at APN 018-830-03-00 in Trinity County, specifically 3.5 miles southeast of Mad River on South Fork Mountain. The project authorizes the cultivation of up to 10,000 square feet of mature mixed-light cannabis canopy. Current operations utilize two 4,980 square foot greenhouses cultivating 9,960 square feet of cannabis, supported by a 2,560 square foot two-story storage and processing building, a composting area, 5,000 gallons of water storage, and four 1,000-gallon nutrient mixing tanks. The site is serviced by an existing permitted groundwater well for water and an onsite septic system for domestic wastewater. Power is provided via onsite solar panels, and the facility is accessed through a private road. This project is certified as exempt from further environmental review under CEQA Guidelines Section 15183, as it remains consistent with local zoning and community plans. The approval is granted pursuant to Business and Profession Code, Division 10, Chapter 2, Section 26012.
