Yard Waste Disposal & Processing Services

It is the intent and purpose of this RFQ to receive proposals to assure the composting of yard waste during thecontract period of up to approximately 10,000 tons per year of yard waste. Yard Waste shall mean yard wastecollected by or on behalf of the City of Buffalo ("City") and received at the Contractors and/or the City's facilitythat is composed of the following items:• Plant cuttings, roots, and leaves.• Hedge and shrub trimmings, brush cuttings, twigs and branches.• Trees.• Brush.• Any other item designated as yard waste as reasonably determined by the Commissioner ofPublic Works.• All material shall be either loose or in plastic bags or paper bags. Business enterprises awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years: None Minority / Women Business Enterprise contracting goals (MWBE) Total MWBE Goals: 25.00%
