Yolo County TSS PTC Well Installation

The Yolo County TSS PTC Well Installation project, managed by the California Department of Water Resources, involves the installation of six multi-completion groundwater monitoring wells in the Winters and Davis areas of Yolo County. This effort is part of the Statewide Groundwater Monitoring initiative and is designed to provide high-resolution measurements for subsidence monitoring. The project is overseen by a Professional Geologist or Geologist-In-Training from the Geology and Groundwater Investigations unit. Technical specifications for the wells include a 12 inch diameter with two 2 inch diameter well casings and a 4 foot by 4 foot completion footprint. The project has been granted a Notice of Exemption under Class 6, Section 15306, as the data collection and resource evaluation activities are expected to have no significant environmental impact. Ky Dupuis serves as the primary engineering geologist and lead agency contact for the installation.
