THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors for market research purposes. TELEPHONIC SUBMISSIONS AND QUESTIONS WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED AS THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. Naval Facilities Engineering Command Mid-Atlantic is specifically seeking businesses with current, relevant qualifications, experience, personnel, and capabilities to perform the proposed requirement. The work includes, but is not limited to: •Provide and manage the polymer inventory at the Camp Lejeune Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant (AWWTP) in order to ensure the percent solids achieved maintains a range of between 4.8% and 5%. •Contractor shall ensure that a constant supply of polymer is available. Historical information demonstrates that approximately 24,000 pounds or 2,880 gallons of P846E polymer has been required annually at intervals of every two months. •Clean polymer tanks prior to refilling. There are two 500 gallon polymer tanks. One tank is in-use at a time. Clean recirculation pump and recirculation/discharge lines prior to refilling each empty tank. •Perform jar tests semi-annually to ensure polymer is performing as required. •Provide quarterly training to AWWTP employees regarding safe handling and usage of polymers at the plant. The Procurement Method to be utilized is FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 562998 and the annual size standard is $7,000,000. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation, and any attachments, at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ when it becomes available. Any and all qualified firms are encouraged to respond. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of this evaluation. One of the main functions of this synopsis is to assist the Contracting Officer in determining whether companies are available for to fulfill this procurement. Interested parties should indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office a capability statement. The capability statement shall include the following: •Ability to meet all technical requirements outlined in this notice. Contractors shall demonstrate their experience managing solids, with chemical methods, at an Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant by providing information on at least two (2) other contracts/jobs similar to the subject requirements. Contractor shall provide a description of work (size and complexity), location of work and customer point of contact. •DUNS number •CAGE code •Small Business Size Standard for applicable NAICS code •Contractor Point of Contract for any additional information Notifications of interest must be submitted in writing via email; phone calls will not be accepted.
