FOSM - Replace Backflow Prevention Assemblies

The National Park Service, CONOPS – Central, plans to issue a Request for Quote for the replacement of two backflow prevention assemblies at Fort Smith National Historic Site in Arkansas. The project includes replacing the backflow preventers, their associated heated aluminum valved enclosures, and lining existing Orangeburg sewer piping. The contract is expected to be a firm-fixed price agreement valued between $100,000 and $250,000. The award is targeted for Summer 2026, with performance commencing shortly thereafter. Construction wage rate requirements specific to Sebastian, Arkansas, will apply to this project. This solicitation is limited to total small businesses under NAICS Code 237110, with a size standard of $45 million. Evaluation of proposals will be based on technical capability, past performance, and price. A mandatory site visit will be scheduled to allow potential offerors to inspect the site and better understand project conditions.
