Z -- INDEFINITE DELIVERY-INDEFINITE QUANTITY, VARIOUS LOCATIONS, N ILLINOIS/NW INDIANA

Scope of work consists of, but is not limited to providing all labor, materials, supervision, equipment and tools necessary for general repairs and alterations to Government-owned and leased facilities at various locations in Northern Illinois and Northwest Indiana. This will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Construction Contract(s). Individual delivery orders will be placed utilizing pre-priced line items as stated in the solicitation. The approximate quantity of construction services anticipated to be performed under this contract is $1 million per year. The contract will be for one year, with the option of extending the contract period for four one-year periods. The requirement is being solicited through full and open competition. Woman-owned, Hubzone, Veteran-owned and Small Disadvantaged businesses are encouraged to submit an offer. Best value method will be used to determine awardee. The Government may make multiple awards under the subject solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 233320 with a size standard of $28.5 million. Interested parties may access the solicitation via the Federal Business Opportunities at http://www.eps.gov, on or about July 8, 2002. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation. No hard copies will be provided. Proposals will be opened privately, therefore the number of proposals received, the identity of offerors and the amount of any offer or relative standing of any offer will not be disclosed. Potential offerors who wish to tour the buildings must submit the following information: Copy of business license, Company's Dun and Bradstreet number, Valid Tax Identification Number and Valid picture state driver's license. The information shall be submitted to the point of contact cited herein. After verification of the preceding information, the requester will be allowed to tour the buildings.
