Z -- MI, Detroit, Construction with Ancillary Design of Roof

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to identify U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Certified HUBZone small business firms capable of providing all labor, material, equipment transportation and supervision required construction with ancillary design services to design and replace the roofing material on the Main Building at the USCG Sector Detroit, MI. A brief description of the required work includes: removal of all EPDM roofing material on the entire roof, removal of roofing insulation and approx. 1409 linear feet of wall flashing and approx. 1065 linear feet of parapet cap flashing. Inspection and removal of flashing and curbing of exhaust fans, A/C unit?s, gravity roof ventilators, skylights, and roof hatches. Install or reinstall new 4 ply modified bitumen/built-up roofing system. New rigid insulation and wall flashing. New parapet cap flashing, roof drains flashing and other flashing as necessary. This is not a complete listing of all work items for this project. Experience: The installer shall have a minimum of 5 years experience and shall have managed and constructed at least three similar projects in the last 5 years. The contractor must perform a minimum of 25% of the work with its own workforce. The NAICS for this project is 238160 with a Small Business Size Standard of $13.0M.
