THIS PROCUREMENT WAS ISSUED AND AWARDED AS A SOLD SOURCE 8(A) PROCUREMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR 19.805. This design-build project is to stabilize the embankment above the Waste Water Treatment Plant B3049 lagoon and below magazine B2244. The slide is approximately 500 LF along the northern perimeter of the WWTP lagoon. The project includes design and installation of a geotechnical stabilization measure determined most appropriate based on boring and inclinometer data that will be provided in order to properly stabilize approximately 500 LF of the slope above the WWTP lagoon. All repairs shall be designed and constructed to plans stamped by a professional engineer registered in the State of Indiana and familiar with the geotechnical stabilization method used. This project also includes any site work and oversight associated with the selected stabilization including, but not limited to, clearing, excavation, grading, reshaping, erosion and sediment control, permits, surveying, utility relocation, reestablishment of vegetation, roadway repairs, guardrail removal and reinstallation, and traffic control. Excavation shall be performed to maintain stable working area during construction.
