Z--(OLYM) Re-Roof Storm King Ranger Station

SOLICITATION DESCRIPTION: This is not a pre-solicitation notice. THIS IS A SOLICITATION REQUESTING QUOTATIONS FOR A CONTRACTOR TO RE-ROOF THE STORM KING RANGER STATION IN OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK, WA. Roofing includes demolition of existing cedar shingle roof and installation of new cedar shake roof and gutters in accordance with the attached project requirements, statement of work, and specifications, etc. New gutters will be installed on the eaves of the large gable roof to reduce the water on the low pitch front and back porches. The downspouts will be located on the south side away from the dominant view of the structure. It is the responsibility of the contractor to fully understand the intended scope of work and to include all elements of the work as a part of the submitted quote. Refer to Section J of Attachment no. 3 for the complete list of attachments that includes the price schedule and all other terms, provisions, and clauses, project requirements, statement of work, specifications, and Dept. of Labor construction wage rates for Clallam County, WA, etc. PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS, EMAIL REQUESTS, OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Click the title to open the overview page, where on the right-side are all of the attachments including the Standard Form 1442. SITE VISIT. An organized site visit has been scheduled for Monday, June 20, 2016 at 1:00pm Pacific Time (PT). Interested contractors shall meet at the front entrance of the Storm King Ranger Station. LOCATION: There is not a physical address for the Storm King Ranger Station. Google Maps lists the address as "Storm King Ranger Station, Port Angles, WA 98363." It is in the Lake Crescent/Barnes Point area of Olympic National Park, approximately 20 miles from Port Angeles, WA, off of Highway 101. There is an NPS highway sign before the turn-off that reads "Storm King Ranger Station / Lake Crescent Lodge / NatureBridge." Once you turn off the highway, at the first four-way intersection, turn right. The ranger station is a short walk from the parking lot to the right of the boat ramp. Plan for up to one hour on-site. Attendance at the site visit is encouraged, but not mandatory (refer to L.2 of Attachment 3, Terms and Conditions, for full site visit details and instructions). PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE for this project is 60 calendar days (estimating 30-45 days lead time for supplies and materials followed by 15-30 days for on-site work), anticipated to start in mid to late July 2016 and be completed by mid to late September 2016 (refer to Section F.2 of solicitation Attachment no. 3). OTHER INFO. All work will be performed under a single contract. In the event that competitive quotes are not received for this solicitation, an offeror may be required to submit cost and pricing data or information other than cost and pricing data. This project is being solicited and awarded as a total (100%) Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 19.502-2. The NAICS code is 238160, Roofing Contractors, with an associate small business size standard of $15 million. Magnitude of Construction: less than $25,000. It is the responsibility of the offerors to monitor the FBO and FedConnect websites to download all amendments and attachments which may also be issued against the solicitation prior to the solicitation's closing date.
