THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY! Eglin AFB, FL, has a requirement to Repair Sewer Line, Cobb's Overrun, at Eglin AFB, FL. This acquisition is unrestricted. THIS IS A - TRADE-OFF (PERFORMANCE PRICE TRADE-OFF) ACQUISITION. Award will be made based upon the - Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.3. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest proposed price. This project includes furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials and performing all operations in connection with Repair Sewer Lines, Cobb's Overrun, at Eglin AFB, FL. In general, the work consists of installation of new 12 force main sewer pipeline from the Cobb's Overrun area to the main sewer plant. The new pipeline will be epoxy coated with slip joints. The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, materials, and equipment complete in accordance with the plans and specifications. The work is located on Eglin AFB, FL. The date for release of solicitation is 8 JUL 2003 AND IS ONLY AN ESTIMATED DATE. Estimated dollar range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System code for this project is 237110. Performance period is to be determined. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made in accordance with FAR 52.232-18.
