Z--Replace wood shingle roofs at Washington Headquart

The Department of the Interior, National Park Service (NPS), Valley Forge National Historical Park, King of Prussia, PA, intends to issue a Request for Proposal, 140P4219R0010, for the removal and replacement of 2 wood shingle roofs and associated roof flashing, sheet metal work and any carpentry repairs required, approximately 3315 sq.ft. There are two options to replace another two wood shingle roofs totaling approximately 3440 sq.ft.. The work includes providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation and supervision to remove and replace the roofs. This project is being solicited as a total small business set-aside. The solicitation, including all bid documents, will be posted to the websites: http://www.fedbizopps.gov and https://www.fedconnect.net on or about July 12, 2019. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be mailed. To receive the solicitation package you must download it from one of the above sites. It is therefore the contractor¿s responsibility to check the internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. Contractors must be registered in SAM, System for Award Management, in order to receive a contract award. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 238160, Roofing Contractors with a size standard o $15M. The magnitude for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000 and is subject to the Davis Bacon Wage Act. A Bid Guarantee will be required with the solicitation; Payment and Performance Bonds will be required within 10 days of award. There will be a site visit scheduled and perspective offeror¿s are encouraged to visit the site to review conditions before providing an offer.
