Solicitation No. F12PS00264PROJECT TITLE: South Pool Channel Cleanout-Chautauqua NWR PROJECT LOCATION: Chautauqua National Wildlife Refuge U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service 19031 E County Road 2110 N Havana, IL 62644-6372 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project shall include but is not limited to the removal of accumulated silt from a 19,000 foot long channel, removing accumulated silt from four rip-rap fords, and cleaning two drainage culverts, all of which are used for water control purposes at the south pool of Chautauqua National Wildlife Refuge. Removed silt shall be spread on the adjacent berms. Due to the scheduled drawdown of the south pool, the project is required to be completed between June 18 and July 27, 2012. All work shall be in accordance with the statement of work. ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: The estimated magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated. SOCIOECONOMIC PROGRAMS: This procurement is issued under FAR 52.219-6 as a set-aside exclusively for small business concerns. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction Except Dredging and Surface Cleanup Activities with a size standard of $20.0 million.
