Z--Special Notice

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO SYNTRONICS using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The US Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) - Tenant Contracting Division, 6001 Combat Drive, APG, MD 21005 has a requirement to procure the following items: To provide repairs, service, and consultation for D4DG1, D4DG1 and D4B DAS systems, including system subcomponents. Hardware is to be repaired on an quote mark as needed quote mark basis IAW vendor's quote. The intended period of performance shall be for one year from the date of award. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source award to SYNTRONICS. This firm is the sole source manufacturer of the D4D product line. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334511 and the Business Size Standard is 750. All responses received within the days listed below after the date of the publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 2:00pm Eastern Time, Friday, May 29, 2015. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
