WACO Emergency Generator

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE:

The National Park Service, CONOPS – Central, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the Install Emergency Generator project for Waco Mammoth National Monument in Waco, Texas.

The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, permits, testing, startup services, and incidentals necessary to furnish and install a complete and operational 130 kW diesel emergency generator system serving the Dig Shelter facility at Waco Mammoth National Monument.

SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6026Q0052

PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $25,000 and $100,000

TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by Summer 2026 with performance to begin in Summer 2026.

Construction Wage Rate Requirements for McLennan County, TX will apply.

EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Prior Experience, and Price

North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238210, and the size standard is $19 million.

This project is set aside 100% for Total Small Businesses.

SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation.
