DLA Aviation is conducting market research to identify qualified sources capable of providing 96 protective covers, identified by NSN 5340-01-532-9456 and Part Number 74D110608-1009. This sources sought synopsis falls under NAICS code 332510 and aims to determine the most appropriate procurement method, which may result in a small business set-aside or full and open competition. Potential contractors must be able to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the new manufacture of the items, including inspection, testing, packaging, and shipping. Interested parties are required to submit their organization's contact information and tailored capability statements demonstrating their technical and financial capacity to meet the requirement under a firm fixed price contract. Because the agency does not possess a technical data package, manufacturers must also submit a Source Approval Request package for future evaluations. Responses must be emailed to the designated acquisition specialist, and the government will evaluate submissions based on project management capabilities, risk mitigation, and the ability to adhere to strict program schedules.
