Zeiss Microscopes

The proposed contract action is for commercial items which the Naval Medical Center San Diego intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106 (1) (b). This proposed contract action is used for BTC/MSSC for Zeiss Microscopes to be added and attached to the existing components that NMCSD currently owned. The source is Metro Medical Equipment & Supply, Inc. at 7550 N Broadway, Saint Louis, MO 63147-2620. Interested contractors/persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of interest is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 3 September 2013, 10:00AM, Pacific Standard Time, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
