This project consists of the replacement and modernization of existing water distribution facilities along Walnut Street, Ebony Lane, and 247th Place. These improvements are intended to improve the reliability and operational performance of the existing water distribution system, including water flow, pressure, and fire protection. This project will replace approximately 4,500 linear feet of existing 4-inch and 6-inch water mains with 8-inch PVC water mains and will include associated gate valves, fittings, water services, fire hydrant assemblies and related appurtenant improvements as well as add one new fire hydrant assembly and associated service lateral. The replacement facilities and new fire hydrant will be installed within the existing roadway and utility corridors and will continue to serve the same existing service area and substantially the same utility function as the facilities being replaced.
