Derek Brown

Derek Brown serves as the Director of IT, a technical leadership role responsible for overseeing the agency's information technology infrastructure and digital strategy. In this capacity, he plays a critical role in the agency's procurement mission by ensuring that technical requirements are met through the acquisition of specialized hardware, software, and IT services necessary to support organizational operations. The agency's procurement landscape currently shows a preference for full and open competition, as evidenced by a lack of set-aside designations in recent contracting activity. This pattern suggests that the agency frequently engages with large-scale providers capable of meeting complex technical specifications through unrestricted contract vehicles.
