Don Dietrich

Don Dietrich serves as an Erate Consultant, providing specialized expertise within the procurement landscape. In this capacity, his role involves navigating the complexities of the E-rate program to support the acquisition of telecommunications and internet access services. He functions as a subject matter expert to ensure that procurement activities align with the specific regulatory requirements and funding mechanisms inherent to E-rate eligibility and compliance. The agency's procurement data indicates a preference for full and open competition, as there is currently no recorded utilization of set-aside programs. The contracting patterns show a 100% rate for non-set-aside acquisitions, suggesting that the office primarily engages with large-scale vendors through unrestricted competitive solicitations rather than specific socioeconomic categories such as 8(a), HUBZone, or SDVOSB.
