Manuel Terrazas

Tony Terrazas serves as an Engineer responsible for technical acquisition and procurement within a federal technical operations environment. He plays a critical role in translating engineering requirements into structured solicitations, ensuring that complex electronic and aerospace systems meet mission-critical performance standards. His work bridges technical specification development with contract execution, focusing on high-precision components and subsystems for defense and aerospace applications. Terrazas typically manages competitive procurements for specialized hardware, including electronic connectors and aircraft auxiliary equipment, often coordinating with systems engineers and program managers to align procurement strategy with technical lifecycle needs. While specific contractor names are not available, Terrazas maintains a broad vendor engagement model, working with both large-tier manufacturers and niche suppliers capable of meeting stringent military and aerospace specifications. His procurement patterns emphasize technical capability over scale, fostering partnerships with vendors possessing specialized certifications in quality control, traceability, and defense supply chain compliance. He consistently prioritizes vendors with proven expertise in high-reliability manufacturing and conformal coating technologies for electronic components. Terrazas’s contracting activity is entirely non-set-aside, with 100% of acquisitions conducted under full and open competition. This reflects a mission-driven focus on technical superiority and supply chain resilience rather than socioeconomic preferences. While small business participation is not formally incentivized through set-asides, his evaluations still consider vendor size and capacity as part of overall technical risk and delivery reliability assessments. His primary procurement focus lies in NAICS 334417 (Electronic Connector Manufacturing), where he sources precision interconnects for avionics and sensor systems. He also regularly procures components under NAICS 336413 (Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing), including wiring harnesses, junction boxes, and control system peripherals. The minor allocation to NAICS 811219 suggests occasional support for specialized repair and maintenance services for electronic assemblies. Terrazas’s domain expertise centers on high-reliability electronics and aerospace subsystems, with deep familiarity in MIL-SPEC standards and environmental testing protocols.
