Workflows are powerful, but visual node editors can get complex fast. We've added a shortcut: just tell the AI what you want, and it builds it.
What's New
The AI Workflow Builder is now available in the workflow editor. Open the chat sidebar and describe a change in plain English — the agent handles the rest.
How It Works
Talk to your workflow
Type a natural language instruction like:
- "Add a Slack notification after the filter step"
- "Create a trigger for new recommendations matching my capture profile"
- "Change the extraction prompt to include contract value and period of performance"
The agent reads your existing workflow, figures out what needs to change, and makes it — creating new nodes, drawing the right connections, and updating configuration fields in real-time on the canvas.
Edit any config
You're not limited to structural changes. The AI can also update:
- AI step prompts
- Filter rules and conditions
- Slack channels and webhook URLs
- Email notification templates
- Any field you could edit manually in the UI
Smart suggestions
When you open the sidebar, you'll see quick-start prompts tailored to your current workflow — they reference your actual node names and suggest logical next steps based on what's already there.
Why It Matters
Workflow editors are powerful but have a learning curve. Being able to describe what you want in plain language removes that barrier — you can iterate on your automations as fast as you can type. It also means you can make quick changes mid-workflow without having to find and manually configure the right node.
Get Started
Open any workflow in the editor and click the Chat button to open the sidebar. Describe what you want to build or change, and let the agent handle the wiring.
