What's New
Drag & Drop File Uploads are now live in Proposal Lab. You can drag any supported file directly into the chat window — no need to use a file picker or upload flow.
How It Works
Just drag and drop
Grab a file from your desktop or file explorer and drop it anywhere in the Proposal Lab chat. The file uploads, the agent reads it, and it becomes part of the context for the current session.
Broad file type support
Drop in whatever you're working with:
- Documents: PDF, Word (.doc, .docx), RTF, PowerPoint (.pptx)
- Spreadsheets: Excel (.xls, .xlsx), CSV
- Images: PNG, JPG
- Other: Plain text, Markdown
The agent understands it immediately
Once a file lands in the chat, the agent automatically reads and processes it. Drop in a compliance matrix and ask "What sections am I missing?" Drop in an RFP PDF and ask "What are the evaluation criteria?" The agent uses the file as context for everything that follows.
Why It Matters
Proposal Lab is about removing friction from the proposal writing process. Having to navigate through a file picker to add context — especially when you might be dropping in several reference documents — was the kind of small friction that adds up.
