New: Subcontracts — Big Contracts Broken Into Teaming Opportunities 🤝

Large prime contracts often have work that's better suited — or actively required — to be subcontracted. We're now surfacing that work directly in your CLEATUS recommendations.

What's New

Subcontracts is a new feature that analyzes large contracts and decomposes them into component subcontracts, representing the specific areas of work available for teaming partnerships.

The subcontract opportunities are now live and generating matches in your recommendations feed.

How It Works

When CLEATUS processes a large contract, it identifies the distinct scopes of work that could realistically be subcontracted — based on the contract structure, SOW language, NAICS codes, and historical teaming patterns. These become individual subcontract opportunities that are scored against your Capture Profile.

If a large IDIQ or prime contract has a cybersecurity component, a cloud infrastructure component, and a program management component, each of those might appear as a separate subcontract opportunity for companies with matching capabilities.

• Identify prime contractors you could approach about teaming
• Discover large vehicles where your NAICS and set-asides are actively needed

Why It Matters

For many small govcon companies, the most realistic path to winning work on major contracts is as a subcontractor or teaming partner — not as the prime. Subcontracts bridges that gap, turning massive awards that would otherwise be out of reach into specific, actionable teaming opportunities.
