Hey there! 👋 We've just added a new way to steer your proposals before the first word is written: Additional instructions on the v6 proposal page. Type in your guidance, attach supporting docs, and hit Generate — your direction gets folded into the very first draft.
What's New
The v6 proposal page now features an Additional instructions panel sitting right between the document preview and the Generate Proposal button. It's the same agent chat composer you already use throughout CLEATUS — so you can type free-form guidance, pull in files from the Document Hub, or drop in a saved prompt, all before kicking off the run.
How It Works
Open the instructions panel
- Navigate to any pursuit and click through to the v6 proposal page.
- Click Additional instructions to expand the composer panel — it lives just above the Generate Proposal button.
Add your guidance
- 📝 Type any free-form direction you want CLEATUS to follow — for example: "emphasize our SDVOSB past performance" or "keep the technical volume under 10 pages."
- Click + to upload a new file, attach an existing Document Hub document, or insert a saved prompt from your library.
Generate with confidence
- Hit Generate Proposal and your instructions, along with any highlighted documents, are woven directly into the run.
- The first draft comes back already shaped to your specs — no post-generation cleanup required.
Why It Matters
Before this update, the one-click generate button always started from the same baseline prompt for each contract type. If you wanted to steer the output — adding emphasis, setting page limits, or referencing a specific past-performance example — you had to do it after the fact in a follow-up chat. Now you can set the direction upfront, so your very first draft is already aligned with your strategy. No more dropping back to V5 or making edits mid-run just to get the fundamentals right.

Open any pursuit, head to the v6 proposal page, and look for the Additional instructions panel just above the Generate Proposal button.
