Hey there! 👋 Every contract and grant is really a stack of modifications, option exercises, and de-obligations layered on over years, but the award page only ever showed you the final number. Today we've added Award History & Timeline: a visual curve of how the money was obligated over the life of the award, plus a new History tab with every action behind it.
What's New
Open any contract or grant and you'll find two new ways to see its full story. The Overview tab now leads with an Award History & Timeline chart that traces cumulative obligated dollars across the life of the award, and a new History tab lists every modification, option exercise, and de-obligation behind that curve, all searchable, sortable, and exportable.
How It Works
- 📈 On an award's Overview tab, the Activity Timeline shows obligated dollars building up over time, with markers for the period of performance and the current award value
- Open the new History tab to see every action, one row per modification, with its obligation, fiscal year, and action date
- Search by modification, sort by date, obligation amount, or mod number, and switch between card and table views
- Click Export to download the full action history as a CSV
Why It Matters
The headline dollar figure never told you how an award got there. Now you can see the whole story: when options were exercised, where money was added or pulled back, and how spending ramped over time. That's the context you need to size a recompete, plan a pursuit, or understand how an agency really funds the work.

Open any contract or grant from your pipeline or government search, then check the Overview and History tabs to trace its full funding story.
