We've added a faster, more natural way to automate work that needs to happen at the same time: Parallel Workflow Steps. One step can now branch into several next actions, so your workflow can save a report, email your team, and create a follow-up task together instead of making each action wait its turn.
That means the workflow on your screen can finally mirror the way capture work actually happens. Once research is complete, the next pieces of work often belong to different people and systems. Now you can launch all of them from the same result.
What's New
With Parallel Workflow Steps, any step in an AI Workflow can hand its output to several next steps that run side by side. The builder lays those branches out clearly beneath their shared starting point, keeping even larger workflows easy to read and edit.
You can add parallel actions to a straightforward workflow or use them inside more complex paths. Each branch continues independently, so you can build the process your team needs without forcing unrelated actions into a single line.
How It Works
- Open Automation → Workflows and choose the workflow you want to edit
- Drag from a step's output to more than one next action, or select "Add parallel step" to create another branch
- Connect each branch to the action it should perform, such as saving a document, sending an email, or creating a task
- When the workflow runs, every independent branch starts at the same time
- Select "Auto-organize" whenever you want the builder to arrange the branches into a clean, balanced view
Why It Matters
Real capture and business development work rarely moves in a perfect sequence. A completed compliance review might need to be saved to the pursuit, shared with the team, and turned into assigned follow-up tasks. Those actions do not depend on one another, so making them wait adds time without adding value.
