Hey there! 👋 Typing out a long question or a detailed contract note takes time, so we've added voice dictation to every chat in CLEATUS. Click the microphone, say what you need, and your words land in the message box for you to edit before you send.
What's New
Voice dictation is now built into every chat box in the platform: the Agent tab, the chat bubble in the corner, contract search, and the proposal writer. A microphone sits right next to the send button on each one, ready whenever you'd rather talk than type.
How It Works
- 🎙️ Click the microphone next to the send button, say what you need, and click again to stop
- ✏️ Your words land right where your cursor is, so you can dictate into the middle of something you already started
- ❌ Changed your mind mid-sentence? Hit the X while recording and the take is thrown away
- ✅ Everything arrives as editable text, and nothing is sent until you send it
Why It Matters
Talking is quicker than typing, and it's especially quick on the vocabulary this work runs on. Dictation correctly picks up terms like "8(a) set-aside," "GSA MAS SIN 54151S," HUBZone, SDVOSB, and NAICS codes instead of turning them into something you then have to go back and fix. Describing the opportunity you're chasing is now about as fast as thinking of it.
