The proposal writer now fits every notice type 🧠

Hi everyone! We've made the Proposal Writer response-aware. It now reads the notice type and response type on every pursuit and builds what the buyer actually asked for, whether that's a full proposal, a quote, a short capability response, or a capture plan.

What's New

With response-aware writing, the writer no longer treats every opportunity like an RFP. Each type of notice gets its own plan, its own set of documents, and its own card on the contract and pursuit pages.

How It Works

RFPs get the full treatment

  • Click Build Proposal and the writer produces a Requirements Document, Evaluation Factors, a Compliance Matrix, and your proposal volumes

RFQs and IFBs get a quote

  • Click Build Quote for a priced line-item schedule that mirrors the solicitation, the Government forms filled in, and a Compliance Matrix, with no evaluation factors or volumes
  • Prices you have not given yet stay marked PENDING so you always know what's left
  • IFBs also get the sealed-bid checks: bid guarantee, bid opening date, and amendment acknowledgments
  • If an RFQ awards on a best-value tradeoff or asks for technical volumes, it still gets the full proposal treatment

Sources sought and RFIs get a response

  • Click Build Response for one capability response that answers the notice's questions in its own order, with no compliance matrix

Forecasts get a plan

  • Click Build Plan for a capture plan that positions you before the solicitation drops, with no invented deadline, evaluation criteria, or compliance matrix

Award, special, and other notices

  • The writer works out what the notice actually calls for before it plans anything, and tells you plainly when a notice asks for no submission at all

Why It Matters

The wrong document costs time, and it can cost the bid. A quote is won on a complete, correct price. A sources sought is won on clear answers. A forecast is won on early positioning. The writer now spends its effort on what each buyer will actually evaluate, and flags what only you can supply.
