WOSB Program Eligibility
To qualify for WOSB set-asides, your business must meet specific ownership and control requirements.
Ownership Requirements
- At least 51% owned by one or more women who are U.S. citizens.
- Women owners must have unconditional ownership interest.
- For publicly owned businesses, at least 51% of stock must be owned by women.
- For EDWOSB, owners must also meet specific economic criteria.
Control Requirements
- Women must control the management and daily operations.
- Women must hold the highest officer position.
- Women must have managerial experience or technical competence.
- Women must devote full-time to the business during normal working hours.
