The contract incorporates all technical and quality requirements identified by R or I numbers from the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, with the applicable revision determined by the solicitation issue date for simplified acquisitions or the RFP issue date for larger acquisitions, unless amended. Mercury or mercury-containing compounds are strictly prohibited from intentional addition or direct contact with the supplied hardware, except for functional applications in batteries, fluorescent lights, specified instruments, sensors, controls, weapon systems, or chemical reagents authorized by NAVSEA. Portable fluorescent lamps and instruments containing mercury must be shockproof and include a secondary containment boundary, in compliance with NAVSEA 5100-003D. Additionally, government identification must be removed from non-accepted supplies.
