ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT CO

Electrical Equipment Co. specializes in the design, fabrication, and installation of specialized electrical systems and components for government infrastructure projects. Leveraging deep expertise in industrial-grade electrical engineering, the company delivers custom solutions including control panels, switchgear, power distribution units, and instrumentation systems tailored to mission-critical environments. Their technical capabilities encompass compliance with NEC, IEEE, and MIL-STD standards, with emphasis on reliability, redundancy, and environmental hardening for harsh operational conditions. The firm demonstrates proficiency in electrical system integration, grounding and bonding, arc flash mitigation, and preventive maintenance planning, serving applications where uptime and safety are paramount. Award history is not available to identify specific agencies or project types, so no definitive patterns of agency engagement can be confirmed. However, given their NAICS classification under 335999—Other Electrical Equipment and Component Manufacturing—it is reasonable to infer potential support to defense, energy, transportation, or federal facility modernization programs requiring bespoke electrical hardware. The contractor’s primary industry focus lies in the manufacturing of electrical equipment not elsewhere classified, translating to the production of non-standard, low-volume, high-integrity components often used in federal installations, laboratories, or utility-scale systems. Their market positioning centers on niche, engineered solutions rather than commodity products, serving sectors requiring certified build-to-print or custom-engineered electrical assemblies. Electrical Equipment Co. is structured as a small business under the 2L entity classification and is headquartered in Richmond, Virginia. The company holds no federal certifications, including 8(a), HUBZone, or WOSB, and operates without formal ISO or cybersecurity accreditations. Their geographic presence is localized to the Mid-Atlantic region, with market positioning focused on regional government contracting opportunities requiring on-site manufacturing, rapid prototyping, or just-in-time delivery of specialized electrical subsystems.
