HELICOPTER EXPRESS LLC

HELICOPTER EXPRESS LLC specializes in non-scheduled aerial transport services, delivering critical freight and logistical support via helicopter operations across remote and mission-critical environments. The company provides on-demand air cargo movement, rapid response asset transport, and specialized flight services tailored to federal agency needs, particularly in fire suppression, resource deployment, and field supply chain support. Their technical expertise includes precision helicopter operations under dynamic environmental conditions, mission-critical payload management, and coordination with ground logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of equipment, supplies, and personnel to inaccessible locations. Key differentiators include operational agility, adherence to FAA Part 135 safety standards, and proven reliability in high-stakes, time-sensitive missions requiring low-altitude navigation and hover-based loading/unloading. The contractor maintains a deep, sustained relationship with the Department of Agriculture, consistently supporting forest service, wildlife management, and emergency response operations through frequent freight airlifts. They also deliver critical flight services to the Department of the Interior, notably supporting Bureau of Land Management wildfire containment efforts with dedicated helicopter platforms configured for water bucketing, crew transport, and equipment delivery in active fire zones. Their primary focus lies in NAICS 481212—nonscheduled chartered freight air transportation—with complementary experience in passenger air transport under 481211. This positions them as a niche provider in federal emergency and operational logistics, serving agencies requiring rapid, flexible, and rugged aerial mobility solutions beyond fixed-wing or scheduled services. HELICOPTER EXPRESS LLC is a small business structured as a 2L entity, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. While currently holding no formal government certifications, their operational track record demonstrates consistent compliance with federal aviation and safety regulations. The company is strategically positioned within the federal emergency response and natural resource management market, relying on proven performance and mission-specific adaptability rather than formal set-aside status.
