NTS TECHNICAL SYSTEMS LLC

NTS Technical Systems LLC specializes in advanced ballistic and materials testing services for defense systems, with a focused expertise in evaluating protective equipment and ammunition performance under extreme conditions. The company delivers precision ballistic testing, penetration analysis, and helmet evaluation using standardized military protocols, supporting the development and certification of body armor, helmets, and small arms systems. Their technical capabilities include clay media penetration testing, equipment durability assessment, and deconstruction of government-furnished equipment to analyze structural integrity and failure modes. This hands-on, lab-based approach positions them as a trusted provider for empirical data critical to soldier protection and weapon system validation. The contractor maintains a consistent relationship with the Department of Defense, delivering mission-critical testing services across multiple branches and programs. Their work supports ordnance, infantry equipment, and protective systems development, often in direct support of Army and Marine Corps procurement and readiness initiatives. The depth and frequency of engagements indicate a long-standing role as a specialized technical partner within the defense acquisition ecosystem. Their primary industry focus is on Testing Laboratories and Services (NAICS 541380), where they operate as a niche provider of military-grade ballistic and materials analysis. While they have one contract in Small Arms Ammunition Manufacturing (NAICS 332992), their core market positioning is as a test and evaluation firm rather than a manufacturer, serving defense contractors and government laboratories requiring accredited, repeatable test data. NTS Technical Systems LLC is a small, privately held business based in Belcamp, Maryland, with no public certifications listed. Their geographic proximity to key defense installations and test ranges enhances their ability to respond rapidly to urgent testing requirements, reinforcing their role as a reliable, on-site technical resource within the national defense infrastructure.
