PEOPLE DESIGNS INC

PEOPLE DESIGNS INC specializes in research and development services for physical, engineering, and life sciences domains, with a demonstrated focus on technical communication and digital content delivery. Their core capabilities include designing and developing science-focused web platforms that translate complex research findings into accessible, user-centered digital experiences. The contractor brings expertise in scientific web development, information architecture, and technical documentation systems, ensuring that research outputs—particularly in biomedical and engineering contexts—are effectively disseminated to specialized audiences. Their work emphasizes usability, regulatory alignment, and clear visualization of technical data, distinguishing them as a niche provider of science communication infrastructure rather than laboratory research. The company has delivered services to the Department of Veterans Affairs, primarily supporting research dissemination initiatives through website development and digital content management. This relationship suggests a focus on translating clinical and engineering research into public-facing or internal VA knowledge platforms, likely supporting veteran health innovation programs or scientific collaboration portals. Their primary industry focus is NAICS 541715, which encompasses applied research in physical and engineering sciences outside biotechnology and nanotechnology. In practice, this means they support government-funded scientific projects requiring robust digital interfaces for data sharing, stakeholder engagement, or public outreach—particularly in areas like materials science, environmental engineering, or biomedical instrumentation. As a small business structured as a 2L entity based in Durham, NC, PEOPLE DESIGNS INC operates without federal certifications but maintains a targeted presence in the federal science and research support market. Their geographic positioning in a major research corridor enhances access to academic and federal science partners, reinforcing their role as a specialized contractor in science communication and digital research infrastructure.
