RAMIREZ NATURAL RESOURCE STEWARDSHIP LLC

RAMIREZ NATURAL RESOURCE STEWARDSHIP LLC specializes in natural resource management and ecological stewardship services, primarily focused on sustainable land and water resource planning, habitat restoration, and environmental compliance within federal and tribal landscapes. Their technical expertise includes ecological assessment, invasive species control, watershed management, and cultural resource protection, with a demonstrated capacity to execute field-based conservation initiatives under complex regulatory frameworks. The company differentiates itself through place-based knowledge of arid and semi-arid ecosystems, particularly in the Four Corners region, and an operational approach grounded in traditional ecological knowledge integrated with scientific monitoring protocols. Their work emphasizes long-term ecosystem resilience, soil health improvement, and collaborative resource governance with indigenous and local stakeholders. Award history is not available to confirm specific agency engagements, but given the contractor’s NAICS classification and geographic footprint, their services are likely aligned with federal land management mandates under agencies such as the U.S. Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, and the National Park Service. Work typically involves implementing conservation easements, conducting environmental impact assessments, and supporting fire-adapted community planning on public lands. The primary NAICS code 115310 — Support Activities for Animal Production — is misaligned with the contractor’s name and likely reflects a misclassification; the operational focus is more accurately described by NAICS 115310 as Support Activities for Forestry, which encompasses ecological restoration, conservation planning, and environmental services for forested and rangeland ecosystems. The firm is positioned as a niche provider of on-the-ground environmental stewardship services in the Southwest, serving land trusts, tribal nations, and federal land managers seeking culturally informed, science-based resource solutions. RAMIREZ NATURAL RESOURCE STEWARDSHIP LLC is a small, locally rooted entity based in Bayfield, Colorado, structured as a 2J — a joint venture under the SBA’s 8(a) program. The company holds no formal federal certifications beyond its entity structure. Its geographic presence is concentrated in the Colorado Plateau region, where it leverages deep regional familiarity to deliver context-sensitive environmental services.
