025 Urban Water Management Plan-UWMP & Water Shortage Contingency Plan-WSCP

The Citrus Heights Water District is implementing the 2025 Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP) and Water Shortage Contingency Plan (WSCP), covering the entire boundary of the district across Placer and Sacramento Counties. The UWMP is designed to evaluate long-term water supplies, demands, conservation programs, and overall water system reliability. Complementing this, the WSCP establishes critical response measures to be utilized during water shortages and supply emergencies. This project is classified as a forecast under NAICS code 541620. It is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Water Code Section 10652, as the preparation and adoption of these plans are not subject to CEQA requirements. Administrative oversight is led by Melissa Pieri, the Director of Engineering, and Tamar Dawson, the Assistant Engineer.
