Lumen Company is proposing the construction of two 48-inch by 48-inch handholes within the Caltrans right-of-way along Route 101 at post-mile 30.81 in Ventura, California, to facilitate the installation of middle mile broadband conduits. Trenching will extend from these handholes through the Caltrans right-of-way, crossing into the City of Ventura right-of-way and subsequently into the railroad right-of-way to complete the conduit route. The clearance granted under this contract applies exclusively to the Caltrans right-of-way portion of the work, and no authorization is included for the portions of the project located within other jurisdictions.
