--1 year maintenance and service agreement for a Certek BSL 3 Laboratory

The US Army Medical Command Southeast Region has a requirement for a Maintenance and Service agreement for a Siemens Apogee Insight System for a Certek BSL 3 Lab. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for this requirement. The suggested contractor is Siemems Building Technologies, Inc., 1000 Deerfield Parkway, Buffalo Grove, Illinois 60089-4547. 4 quarters service and maintenance for a Certek BSL3 Lab. The BSL 3 Laboratory requires maintenance support for the Siemens Building Management System (Siemens Apogee Insight System) that runs the BSL3 laboratory. The required work will be as follows: contractor will be on site within 4 hours for emergency for critical component failures 24 hours a day 7 days a week; contractor will be on site within 8 hours for noncritical repairs 24 hours a day 7 days a week; all repair and replacement parts and labor for equipment are to be included in the service contract, and DDEAMC will not be required to pay any extra fees for support of Siemens equipment associated with the BSL3; contractor will calibrate HVAC controls as required to insure optimal performance and contractor will provide periodic maintenance of the Siemens hardware and software such as Insight workstation components, field hardware, data protection/data recovery and calibration services. This is not a request for proposal. However, companies that can provide an equal product must submit their technical capabilities to include technical specifications of their product, past performance information, price and delivery time. This information will be reviewed by the Government technical representatives for consideration for future requirements.
